Yay! And totally fair! Getting the list down is a HUGE part in itself. Also happy to work together if you ever want to! Really leaning on friends and community right now. 🫠
I did miss you! Sounds like you've had some adventures.
I'm looking forward to writing a list of things I like - I've been meaning to for ages, but now I'll do it soon because I now have an extra reason to do so. Thanks!
Woodwork + campfires. Build a little wooden case that holds a campfire kit - something to cook in, matches, old newspaper etc. Or a folding wooden stool that I can sit next to campfire with? Maybe I should just have a campfire in our garden with all the little offcuts I have been saving.
Teaching + small buildings. I've always been a bit obsessed with huts and cabins. I could run a drawing workshop about drawing little buildings. Would love to do a field trip like this!
Repurposing + old buildings. I'd love to do a series of drawings of old buildings that are no longer used for their original purpose. A bit of art, a bit of history, a bit of writing.
Thanks for sharing this exercise. It was a lot of fun, and maybe I will do something with one of these ideas.
Love it! I did thus just yesterday but just the list making part. No action or decisions after. Haha

Aww thank you! It's been rough getting back into a routine.
Yes, it's a nice little activity to do! I like to thing it gives a little serotonin boost. ha!
Probably does! Thinking about all the things we like? What a delicious thing to do.
You're back!
I got:

I'm back! Part thanks to you because you are always so supportive!! Thank you!
AND WOW! These are good combos! They could all be the start to such a large project, body of work, or ongoing series.
The last one kind of feels like it delves into illustrated journalism. (is that a thing? ha) And would be really cool to explore in your town.
I'm glad this quick little exercise was fun and helpful!
